G.C Micro demonstrated its corporate social responsibility and held ESG beach cleaning activities.

The Shihu Story House in Xinwu District, Taoyuan City is a scenic spot with historical and cultural value, as well as an ecological environment that needs to be protected. In order to improve the environmental awareness of employees, G.C Micro held an ESG beach cleaning activity here on June 17, 2023.

During the event, the employees were divided into two groups to compete in the challenge. Each group had a nine-square task card, which listed different beach cleaning goals, such as picking up plastic bottles, general garbage, fishing nets, etc. Employees should try their best to complete the items on the task card within the limited time, and sort and recycle the garbage. At the end, the group that completes the most projects wins and gets a nice souvenir.

G.C Micro said that this ESG beach cleaning activity not only enhanced the teamwork and cohesion of employees, but also allowed them to experience the impact of marine garbage on the environment and organisms.G.C Micro hopes to convey the company's care and responsibility for the society and the environment through such activities, and encourage employees to practice the concepts of energy saving, carbon reduction, and waste reduction in their daily lives.
